A seguire il primo Jolla Phone, già nelle vetrine di alcuni rivenditori del mercato Italiano al prezzo di 299.00 €, arriva la notizia del primo tablet equipaggiato con Sailfish OS.

A fare gli onori di casa e le presentazioni è Marc Dillon, il creatore di Jolla che ha approfittato del suo keynote, tenuto allo Slush di Helsinki svoltosi il 19 novembre, esattamente 24 ore dopo l'avere annunciato il mini tablet Nokia N1.
La dotazione hardware-software.
Il Jolla tablet mette subito in bella mostra un display LCD IPS da 7,85 pollici con una risoluzione da 2048 x 1536 pixel (a 330ppi), la potenza di un processore Intel quad-core da 1.8 GHz a 64 bit, 2 GB di memoria RAM, 32 GB di memoria interna che potrà al bisogno essere aumentata con l'introduzione di micro SD aggiuntive, una fotocamera posteriore con sensore da 5 Megapixel ed una frontale da 2 Megapixel: a completare la dotazione una batteria da 4300 mAh. Per quel che concerne il comparto relativo alla connettività, all'immancabile Bluetooth 4.0, troviamo presente il WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n e la porta micro USB, mentre la presenza dell’antenna GPS\Glonass provvederà a garantire l'utilizzo completo del software relativo alla navigazione satellitare.

Ogni dettaglio appena descritto è sistemato dentro la scocca esclsiva ed elegante (made in Finland) dove spiccano bordi arrotondati per un peso totale di 384 grammi. Il Jolla tablet verrà introdotto nei mercati per essere venduto durante il 2^ quadrimestre del prossimo 2015, ad un prezzo orientativo di 189.00 $ (prezzo riservato ai primi 1000 appassionati\acquirenti) nei continenti: Europa, USA, India, China, Hong Kong e Russia.
