MixRadio ceduta da Microsoft a LINE! La società di Redmond annuncia di aver dato il via alla cessione dell'app MixRadio a LINE, la società di servizio instant messaging.

Le due parti hanno redatto un'accordo che verrà formalizzato durante i primi mesi del 2015, che per adesso non implica nessun tipo di modifiche riguardo i termini e le condizioni di utilizzo di MixRadio da parte dell'utenza, perciò la qualità musicale che prima era fornita da Nokia per poi passare da Microsoft, tramite l’app in questione compatibile per Windows Phone, non avrà alcun cambiamento.
Il responsabile di MixRadio, Jyrki Rosenberg, a seguito questo accordo tra Microsoft e LINE ha dichiarato:
" | Volevamo che MixRadio continuasse a portare innovazione e a garantire la migliore esperienza “mobile-first” a tutti gli appassionati di musica. LINE condivide con noi questa visione e la nostra passione per una user experience semplice, personale e divertente in qualsiasi ambito.La sede operativa del team di sviluppo di MixRadio, continuerà ad essere quella di Bristol, nel Regno Unito, mantenendo la fornitura, cosi almeno si evince nel comunicato stampa di un ottimo servizio per i listeners usufruendo del supporto di LINE che consentirà di accrescerlo e farlo entrare in contatto ad un numero maggiore di amanti della musica, in tutto il mondo.
La crescita di MixRadio è già iniziata all'interno del segmento home audio ed è in continua espansione nel mercato dei gadget indossabili, ed a conferma di quanto detto c'è la recente integrazione negli altoparlanti wireless Harman Kardon Omni e nell’Adidas miCoach Smart Run watch.
