Lo smartwatch LG WebOS si basa su SO sviluppato dal famoso marchio Palm seguito da un passaggio di mano dopo al fallimento di quest'ultima. LG ha già usato WebOS per le sue TV, e adesso sta verificando altre opzioni date da questa tecnologia. Sviluppato in collaborazione con Audi, detiene fra le sue app, anche una app che lo connette ad un veicolo epermettendo di interagire, ma non mancano altre funzioni già viste su altri smartwatch basati su Android Wear. C'è un dialer, la messaggistica, musica, calendario e quanto occorre per tenere sotto controllo attività fisica e salute: il device ha anche un sensore per il battito cardiaco collocato sul retro della cassa.
Non mancano estensioni per tenere d'occhio lo status dello smartphone a cui l'orologio è accoppiato. Internamente il dispositivo dovrebbe montare un SoC Snapdragon 400, ma non abbiamo a disposizione altri dettagli sul resto delle caratteristiche hardware. La cassa è in acciaio, e ricorda da vicino le finiture del già mostrato G Watch R: chi l'ha visto da vicino giura si tratta comunque di un prodotto elegante con finiture squisitamente raffinate, sicuramente pensato per un pubblico con una buona capacità di spesa.
