Certamente abbiamo sentito parlare almeno una volta del marchio Vaio, produttore nipponico di computer portatili. Marchio interno del colosso giapponese Sony, che si occupava del comparto "LapTop", passato ad un nuovo proprietario, il marchio Vaio commercializza anche smartphone

Proprio un anno fa, nel febbraio del 2014, Sony chiuse il comparto dei computer portatili Vaio, e cede il marchio al gruppo giapponese Japan Industrial Partners. Ora che Vaio non fa più parte di Sony il nuovo proprietario può inserire nel marchio altre tipologie di prodotti, per esempio come gli smartphone, e detto fatto Vaio presenta il suo primo dispositivo.

Presentato dal gruppo JIP in una conferenza stampa tenuta in Giappone, VA-10J, nome in codice, è ufficialmente il primo smartphone Android firmato Vaio. Dispositivo alquanto misterioso visto che è stato mostrato la confezione ma del dispositivo neanche l'ombra.

Il gruppo non ha dichiarato molto in merito alle caratteristiche tecniche dello smartphone, che comunque dovrebbe essere caratterizzato da un display da 4.5/5.5 pollici con tecnologia IPS e naturalmente pannello multi-touch. Per tutte le altre specifiche tecniche toccherà attendere fino al MWC 2015 dove il dispositivo verrà presentato. Ci aggiorneremo in merito e appena ne sapremo di più, vi informeremo.
