Novità in arrivo nella Beta testing di WhatsApp per Windows Phone 8.1

Giunge notizia della disponibilità di certune funzioni e curiosità innovative, che sono venute ala luce nelle maggiori recenti versioni in fase ancora di Beta testing riguardo l'applicazione di instant messaging WhatsApp per dispositivi Windows Phone 8.1, ed altre piattaforme.

Inzio subito con un doveroso appunto riguardo al fatto che si tratta di novità ancora in fase di Beta testing da parte di tutti coloro che hanno deciso di prendere parte al programma omonimo e non saprei dunque dirvi se e quando saranno introdotte definitivamente nella versione stabile dell’applicazione attraverso l'opportuno update.

A seguire le novità di cui sopra:

• Spunta azzurra: pare che il team di WhatsApp abbia l'intezione di dare l'opportunità agli utenti di potere dare la propria preferenza, dalle Impostazioni dell’app, riguardo al fatto di volere o meno far sapere al proprio interlocutore se ha provveduto a leggere o meno i suoi messaggi tramite la recente colorazione azzurra dei due segni di spunta. Per adesso questa opzione non è presente nella beta di WhatsApp per Windows Phone ma è stata avvistata in quella per Android, pertanto è prevedibile che in futuro possa essere estesa a tutti.
• Backup: adesso WhatsApp provvede ad inserire il proprio file di backup tra quelli che Windows Phone 8.1 caricandolo su OneDrive nel momento in cui viene eseguito in backup di sistema (app e impostazioni). Un eventuale successivo reset e ripristino del telefono provvederà a caricare il backup di Whatsapp contenente tutte le conversazioni. Le note vocali, video o foto, invece, non saranno ripristinati.

• “… sta scrivendo”: adesso pure nelle chat di gruppo viene resa visibile la scritta..."sta scrivendo", tale scritta nel momento in cui un membro del gruppo sta scrivendo. La seguente novità, individuata nella versione stabile di WhatsApp per WP8.1, si è manifestata all'improvviso lasciando pensare che, come la spunta azzurra, riguardi una modifica sui server di WhatsApp pertanto è prevedibile che possa essere estesa, a scaglioni, anche nella versione stabile fin da subito.

• Font: nella più attuale versione beta di WhatsApp di WP8.1 è stato rimediato al problema, che si era presentato nell’ultima versione stabile, che non permetteva di aumentare in modo corretto la dimensione del font dell’app. Ora, infatti, non si deve avanzare di due step per avere la dimensione corretta.

• Amministratori: nei gruppi viene data la possibilità di affidare il ruolo di amministratore ad uno o più dei membri (per rimuovere o aggiungere nuovi componenti del gruppo).

News reaches the availability of some new features and curiosity discoveries in the most recent Beta versions of WhatsApp for Windows Phone 8.1 (and not only).

It is good to stress that this is news in the testing phase by users that have joined the beta program and do not know if and when will be included in stable version of the application via an update.

Here's what's new:

• Checkmark blue: it seems that the team of WhatsApp is willing to give the possibility to the user to choose, the settings of the app, whether you want to know your partner if he has read or less its messages through the recent blue coloration of the two tick marks. At the moment, this option is not present in the beta of WhatsApp for Windows Phone but has been sighted in that for Android, therefore, it is foreseeable that in the future can be extended to all.
• Backup: now WhatsApp enters their backup files between those Windows Phone 8.1 charge on OneDrive when it is running in system backup (app and settings).  A subsequent reset and reset of the handset will load the backup of Whatsapp containing all conversations. Voice notes, video or photo, instead, will not be restored.
• "… Is writing": now also in group chats appears this written when a member of the group is currently writing. • Administrators: in the groups is given the opportunity to entrust the administrator role to one or more of the members (to remove or add a new component of the group).
