A fare da seguito alla video-messaggistica, promossa dal team di Skype tramite l’app Qik, ecco comparire POP Messenger per chat tramite immagini. Disponibile già da tempo nella versione Americana del Windows Phone Store, adesso anche l'utenza italiana potrà beneficiarne di questa esperienza esclusiva e divertente in confronto a quella messa a disposizone dai soliti client di instant messaging, in particolar modo per chiunque è amante del selfie o della fotografia.

L'app POP Messenger può essere installata in maniera totalmente gratuita e, solo dopo essersi registrati ed avere creato un un account (potrete scegliere anche quello via Facebook), sarà possibile iniziare a dare vita a chat tramite immagini con i vostri amici.
Vorrei farvi presente che non è obbligatorio dovere necessariamente fornire il proprio numero di telefono come invice capita su altri software del genere tipo Whatsapp, WeChat, etc etc etc. ma l'accesso potrà avere luogo attraverso il proprio username e password, che averete stabilito durante la fase di registrazione. Il numero di telefono servirà tutt'al più per ottimizzare la ricerca dei vostri amici, ma non è in ogni caso indispensabile.
Dicevamo dunque di quest'app alternativa, che è strutturata con un sistema di messaggistica esclusivamente basato sulle immagini, agevolandone l’invio e provvedendo a sostituire la tastiera con una galleria miniaturizzata da cui sarà possibile spuntare e inviare ogni immagine. Dopo avere scelto l’immagine che vorrete inviare, potrete altre sì aggiungere anche una didascalia di testo dove meglio credete, per provvedere ad inviare oltre alle immagini, anche del testo. Se non avete a disposizione delle immagini nella galleria, non c'è alcun problema! POP Messenger, è in grado di fornirvene di prorpei, attingendo dall’app stessa, per iniziare a ricercarne sul motore Bing, anche per parola chiave.
Ritornando al discorso di invio chat di testo, c'è da dire che l'app POP Messenger è in grado anche trasforma il testo digitato in un’immagine su sfondo colorato, potendo mettere a disposizione colori del testo oltre che le decine di font disponibili. Inoltre potrete ingrandire, rimpicciolire o ruotare il testo in maniera semplice, tramite un pinch-in o pinch-out, potendo rendere unico ogni singolo messaggio.
Concludendo c'è da dire che si tratta sostanzialmente di un applicazione è davvero ben fatta. L’invio di immagini, la ricerca su Bing e la possibilità di potere inserire dei testi del tutto personalizzabile, la fanno apparire ed essere di fatto un’app giovanile, esclusiva e intuitiva da usare. Insomma ha tutte le carte in regola per sfondare, per il semplice motivo che riesce a dare vita ad un sistema di messaggistica frizzante e davvero rivoluzionario, se non fosse che purtroppo, come tutte le app di questo genere, paga lo scotto di una esigua ed insufficiente disponibilità di contatti, rivelandosi una criticità importante. La compatibilità anche per iOS e Android però giocare a suo favore, inducendo qualche vostro amico a provarla!
