A Samsung gli è stata fatta una pesante accusa riguardanti alcune linee di montaggio dei suoi dispositivi "top di gamma", specie il Galaxy Note 4 . Stando ad alcune note e a un video pubblicato su Youtube, la società farebbe uso di pannelli AMOLED riciclati sui suoi nuovi device.

L’informazione si è diffusa a macchia d’olio nelle ultime ore, grazie ad un dipendente che avrebbe realizzato il video che ha attirato l’attenzione su vari social network locali. Samsung ha dovuto ufficialmente smentire le accuse: "La voce secondo cui abbiamo utilizzato pannelli AMOLED riciclati per i nostri smartphone è falsa".L’azienda aggiunge inoltre che: "L’individuo identificato non è uno dei nostri dipendenti e non è ancora certo che il luogo indicato dalle immagini pubblicate da costui indichino una nostra fabbrica". Samsung ha poi aggiunto un chiarimento, stabilendo che i pannelli AMOLED riciclati vengono utilizzati "esclusivamente dietro l'espressa autorizzazione" dei clienti che desiderano ridurre i costi di riparazione del propri dispositivi.
