Le modifiche, i miglioramenti e le novità che Microsoft ha previsto per la nuova release di Windows 10 per gli smartphone, sono davvero tanti, sopratutto quelli apportati all’interfaccia utente (UI) rendendola uniforme allo stile di quella che si è vista già nel nuovo OS previsto per PC e tablet.

Alle modifiche grafiche che sono state adottate, si possono apprezzare pure quelle, decisamente interessanti che fanno riferimento principalmente alla funzione che pare essere tra le più desiderate, ovvero sia l’introduzione del supporto per i LED di notifica che si trova già presente nel GDR2 di Windows Phone 8.1. Dall'immagine che vedete qui sotto, riguardo l’Action Center, si può notare la presenza tra le opzioni di notifica di quella nominata “LED” per le applicazioni singole .

Il che fa presumere che Microsoft abbia previsto nei futuri smartphone la possibilità di integrare anche un LED di notifica o, come qualcuno in rete afferma, che possa essere data l'abilitazione su determinati dispositivi già in commercio, ovvero sia i Lumia 730, 735 e 930.

Action Center

Altra novità degna di essere menzionata, prevista in questa Build,è quella che fa riferimento alla opportunità di potere rimuovere l’account Microsoft principale, senza necessariamente dover resettare lo smartphone alle impostazioni di fabbrica. A questo modo, però, saranno cancellate tutte le applicazioni associate a quell’account.

In conclusione, per tutti coloro che amano la privacy, ci sarà la nuova funzione “Microphone” presente nell’elenco delle Impostazioni di sistema. Tale funzionalità permetterà di potere selezionare quali tra le applicazioni installate, possono fare uso del microfono, esattamente a quanto avviene su iOS. Inoltre altra cosa da sottolineare è che adesso si potrà esportare i contatti direttamente sulla SIM nelle impostazioni dell’app Contatti, tramite un'opzione dedicata.
