Ad arricchire le voci riguardo il successore dello smartphone Lumia 1320, il Lumia 1330, si vanno ad aggiungere quelle realtive alla versione Dual Sim nel database della FCC.

Le voci riguardo al successore del Lumia 1320, sono riferite al dispositivo Mobile Microsoft RM 1067 ed RM 1066 (si tratta di certificati allo stesso contesto con l'unica differenza che il primo è fornito di una doppia SIM mentre il secondo è dotato di una versione dell'RM-1062, cioè il Lumia 1330).
A dispetto delle 'notizie' più recenti, in merito alla fotocamera da 14 megapixel 'Pureview' è giusto puntualizzare che siamo sempre nel comparto relativo ai nuovi smartphone Lumia nato intorno alla fine dello scorso mese di novembre da AdDuplex, che per primo ne aveva sottolineato l'arrivo di ben tre varianti di nuovi smartphone. RM-1067 ed RM-1066 riguardano le presunte varianti dell' erede del Lumia 1320 denominato con il nome di Lumia 1330.
In un contesto vengono compresi pure i seguenti modelli: RM-1062, RM-1063, RM-1064 ed RM-1065. Da quanto si può evincere, pare che vengano riutilizzati nella documentazione della FCC, gli stessi test effettuati con il modello RM-1062 oltre che in vari aspetti si fa ampiamente riferimento al termine di 'phablet'. Perciò dopo quanto detto possiamo ricapitolare dai dati in nostro possesso e dalla documentazione depositata alla FCC quanto segue:
- RM-1066 ed RM-1067 sono due varanti 'inedite' dell'erede del Lumia 1320 che si differenziano per la presenza della doppia SIM nel secondo
- Avranno il supporto all'accessorio per la ricarica wireless 'Cover CC-3090 Optiona Wireless Charging back cover'
- Integrano la nuova batteria BV-T4B
- Hanno le seguenti bande telefoniche al di fuori degli States: GSM/GPRS/EGPRS900, GSM/GPRS/EGPRS1800, WCDMA/HSUPA/DC-HSDPA900 (Band 8), WCDMA/HSUPA/DC-HSDPA2100 (Band 1)
Nelle recenti settimane i rumor riguardanti i nuovi phablet Lumia prossimi ad uscire, sono diventate ancor più insistenti a causa del proliferarsi delle segnalazioni e apparizioni delle tantissime versioni, ma occorre sempre rammentare che i modelli in oggetto sono fondamentalmente tre: uno che riguarda il nuovo low-cost avente un display da 4" (in prevalenza concepito per essere destinato al mercato asiatico), un midrange con display da 5" 720p e il phablet di cui sopra, da più parti ritenuto, come il successore del Lumia 1320.
Nota: il termine Lumia 1330 non è riportato in nessun documento ufficiale, viene bensì utilizzato per soli fini illustrativi al fine di rimarcare il posizionamento nel settore Lumia come il più papabile erede del Lumia 1320.
