Un marchio brevettato LG per un Phablet Note o per un smartwatch?

Secondo l'ufficio brevetti americano, sarebbe emerso un documento che attesta che LG ha brevettato un marchio: G Pen. Non è dato da sapere la specifica d'uso del marchio, visto che vien fatta richiesta per un'ampia categoria di prodotti, che comprende sia smartphone, tablet e indossabili e, nello specifico, smartwatch.

Nel corso dei mesi scorsi Lg ha presentato e commercializzato l'LG G3 Stylus, uno smartphone di fascia medio bassa, con uno stilo capacitivo, che non ha ottenuto una grande attenzione da parte dei consumer, probabilmente per la poca utilità dei pennini o per l'hardware direi poco interessante del device.

Il nuovo marchio depositato da LG rivela un interesse verso questa categoria di prodotti, attualmente dominata dalla famiglia Note di Samsung. E se si trattasse di un dispositivo dotato di hardware top di gamma e dotato di digitalizzatore, di un particolare indossabile o di un accessorio per entrambe le categorie di prodotto?

Per ora non si sa, non è chiaro quale sarà l'impiego del nuovo marchio G Pen, anche se alcuni rumor indicano come possibile una variante del prossimo G4 dotata di pennino. Vedremo, come sempre aspetteremo i prossimi mesi il CES 2014 e MWC 2015 ci sveleranno l'arcano.
