Lo youtuber ">Canoopsy, dopo l'avvenuta pubblicazione da parte del sito MacFan, degli schemi relativi al progetto dell'ipotetico iPad Ar Plus da 12.2 pollici, ha dato vita ad un video-confronto che mette a confronto un mockup del dispositivo realizzato facendo riferimento alle dimensioni descritte nei progetti.

Il presunto device nella video clip, viene sottoposto ad un confronto con altri apparati Apple tra cui gli ultimi arrivati iPhone, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 ed un MacBook Pro.
Ipad Air Plus con ogni probabilità dovrebbe arrivare ad avere le seguenti misurare: 305,3 mm x 220,8, per uno spessore di 7 mm anche se da più parti s'insiste riguardo a dimensioni maggiori che vedrebbero il display rispondere ad una diagonale di circa 12.9 pollici contro i 12.2 del mockup protagonista del confronto.
Il sito MacOtakara afferma che iPad Air Plus, di pari passo con un nuovo modello di iPad mini, avrà il ruolo di primo piano in occasione di un evento alquanto speciale di presentazione che avrà luogo il 4 maggio 2015, mentre la messa in vendita nei mercati dovrebbe avere luogo entro il mese successivo. Si tratta, chiaramente, di rumor che non hanno alcun supporto e conferma ufficiale.

In the clip, the hypothetical device is also compared with other Apple devices including the current iPhone, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and a MacBook Pro.
Ipad Air Plus should measure 305.3 mm x 220.8, for a thickness of 7 mm, although several reports insist on a larger dimension which would cause the display to about 12.9 -inch diagonal against the 12.2 of the mockup.
The site MacOtakara argues that iPad Air Plus, together with a new model of iPad mini, will be the protagonist of a special event for the presentation the May 4, 2015 and marketing would be provided within the next month.
