Soltanto qualche giorno addietro si era diffusa la notizia che l'esistenza dell'aggiornamento Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 non fosse vera: bene tutti i rumor al riguardo, il sito Bluetooth.org smentisce ogni cosa, rimettendo tutto in gioco, confermando l’esistenza di Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2.

Dunque, ritorna tutto in gioco: il nuovo update relativo al sistema operativo mobile di Microsoft potrebbe essere ancora parte importante della strategia mesa in atto dal colosso di Redmond, contrariamente a quanto pubblicato dal sito NPU, che lo vedeva accantonato in previsione dell’ormai prossimo lancio della Preview di Windows 10.
In base a quanto viene dichiarato leggendo nella documentazione pubblicata dal sito di Bluetooth SIG, sembrerebbe che l'aggiornamento Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 sarà in grado di apportare "un ampliamento delle opzioni hardware dando la possibilità agli sviluppatori di creare fantastiche applicazioni. Per quanto riguarda il Bluetooth, Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 aggiungerà il supporto a MAP, HID 1.1, HOGP e Absolute Volume Control".
Le suddette informazioni sarebbero state rese note giorno 15 gennaio, e lasciano presupporre che possano essere fondate ed attendibili, visto l'aggiornamento in confronto a quelle che sono state riportate dal sito NPU (ritenute da più parti come voci di corridoio).
Nonostante tutto per ora, non sono arrivate da parte di alcun componente di Microsoft ne smentite ne conferme ufficiali per quel che concerne la questione, perciò pare doveroso aspettare lo svolgersi degli eventi, prima di giungere a conclusioni affrettate e affermare se ci sarà o no un altro update a Windows Phone 8.1 oltre a quello che è in distribuzione in questi giorni (Update 1).
Comunque sia, quanto riportato dal sito bluetooth.org pare dare la certezza che pure gli smartphone con sistema operativo Windows potranno usufruire del supporto al Bluetooth HID 1.1 per consentire, tra l’altro, l’uso di mouse, joystick e tastiere bluetooth.
Se ciò avverrà con Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 o con Windows 10 chi vivrà, vedrà… Probabilmente il 21 gennaio.

In any case, the indications from the site bluetooth.org now give us the certainty that even smartphones with Windows operating system will have the support of the Bluetooth HID 1.1 to allow, among other things, the use of mouse, joystick, and bluetooth keyboards.
If this will happen with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 or with Windows 10 the pudding will only be in… perhaps the 21 January.
