In occasione dell'evento del Mobile World Congress 2015 di Barcellona, Acer ha presentato al pubblico insieme allo smartband Liquid Leap+, pure uno smartphone nuovo della gamma Liquid.

Lo smartphone in questione è il modello Acer Liquid Jade Z, un device che va a collocarsi nella fascia media del mercato degli smartphone, caratterizzandosi per la presenza di un display con risoluzione HD e tecnologia IPS da 5 pollici, dotato oltretutto della protezione Gorilla Glass per il vetro.
Acer Liquid Jade Z è dotato di 1GB di memoria RAM ed un processore MediaTek con clock a 1.5GHz, CPU quad-core strutturato con architettura a 64-bit. Il chipset è supportato inoltre da 8GB di memoria ROM espandibili tramite microSD.
Per quanto riguarda la batteria è un pacco da 2300mAh. Di tutto rispetto il comparto fotografico che è formato da una fotocamera anteriore da 5 MP dotata di un obiettivo di apertura f/2.2, posteriormente invece la fotocamera è fornita di un sensore da 13 MP con apertura f/1.8 che, in base a quanto afferma la stessa Microsoft, fornirà la possibilità di realizzare foto eccellenti anche in condizioni di scarsa luminosità.
Presente anche un flash LED, mentre per quel che concerne il settore connettività possiamo trovare il supporto alla tecnologia dual-SIM e la compatibilità con le reti 4G/LTE di categoria 4, oltre chiaramente all'immancabile Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS e Wi-Fi. Acer Liquid Jade Z verrà distribuito con OS Android 4.4 KitKat ma pare che l'azienda abbia confermato che entro il 2015 verrà rilasciato un aggiornamento alla versione 5.0 Lollipop.
Acer Liquid Jade Z sarà commercializzato durante questo mese, pure nei mercati europei al prezzo consigliato di circa 199.00 €.

This is Acer Liquid Jade Z, a mid-range product characterized by a display with HD resolution and IPS technology by 5 inches, also equipped with protective glass Gorilla Glass. Inside, the smartphone has 1GB of RAM memory and a processor MediaTek with clock to 1.5Ghz, quad-core CPU and having architecture 64-bit. The chipset is flanked by 8GB ROM memory expandable via microSD.
All powered by a battery of 2300mAh. Interestingly, the photographic industry, indeed we have a front chamber 5 megapixel having a target for the opening f/2.2 , behind the chamber is a 13 megapixel with aperture of f/1.8 which, according to the company, will ensure great pictures even in low light conditions.
There is an LED flash. For what regards the aspect we find connectivity support dual-SIM and compatibility with the networks 4G/LTE of category 4, in addition of course to Bluetooth 4.0 , GPS, A-GPS and Wi-Fi . To launch Liquid Jade Z will be distributed with Android 4.4 KitKat but the company has confirmed that by the year 2015 will be released an update to version 5.0 Lollipop. The product will be sold during the month of March, also in Europe, to about 199 €.
