Firefox OS nel nuovo smartphone LG

Il sistema operativo di Mozzilla non ha molto interessato il mercato consumer del mobile, responsabile anche il limitato uso in dispositivi di bassa qualità, un esempio per tutti  Alcatel OneTouch Fire, gà superato appena uscito, obsoleto e poco fruibile.

Tutto faceva prevedere la fine del progetto OS Firefox, invece la community sta ancora lavorando per renderlo sempre migliore. Firefox OS è un sistema operativo mobile sviluppato da Mozilla e basato su Linux e Gecko, lo stesso motore di rendering di Firefox.

Firefox OS è un progetto open source, quindi libero da tecnologie proprietarie, ma comunque in grado di permettere agli sviluppatori di applicazioni di creare fantastici prodotti. Inoltre, per la felicità degli utenti, è abbastanza flessibile e avanzato.

Ora a supporto di questa community sembra che ci sia addirittura LG che dovrebbe uscire a breve con un nuovo smartphone con il sistema della volpe rossa. L’esistenza di tale LG L25 è stata svelata dal famoso leaker @upleaks che tramite il proprio profilo twitter ha pubblicato due screenshot e lo schema grafico del dispositivo.

Nulla di conosciuto sulle caratteristiche tecniche, ma confermata la presenza di connettività 4G LTE. Staremo con le orecchie tese e appena arriverà una voce vi aggiorneremo.
