Era ora: HTC ha dato il via il roll-out della recente distribuzione del sistema operativo Android Lollipop 5.0, per i propri smartphone della serie One by Google Play Edition.

Stiamo parlando di One M7 GPE e One M8 GPE, smartphone disponibili per il solo in mercato Statunitense. Il via libera del roll-out alla versione recente di Android Lollipop 5.0 è stato annunciato attraverso il proprio account Twitter, il Product VP di HTC, Mo Versi.
Il suddetto update riguardante ad Android Lollipop 5.0.1 ha le dimensioni di quasi 500MB e provvederà ad introdurre tutte le novità che già abbiamo avuto modo di apprezzare e conoscere con la prima versione Lollipop, iniziando dalla interfaccia innovativa, basata sullo stile Material Design fino ad arrivare alla recente gestione delle notifiche e via dicendo.
Nessuna informazione sicura si ha riguardo la data precisa del rilascio dell' aggiornamento di cui sopra per le versioni di HTC M7 e HTC M8 che sono state destinate ad essere commercializzate nel resto del mondo e con ROM HTC Sense. Quello che si sa di certo e che tale aggiornamento dovrebbe essere disponibile in tempi ragionevolmente brevi.
