Harbor Tweak Cydia Introduce Dock Stile Yosemite iOS

Si tratta di un progetto che lo scorso anno il VP product marketing di Apple, Phil Schiller, bocciò in merito alla ipotetica globalizzazione dei sistemi operativi home e mobile come fossero una sola cosa, ritenendo questa idea, uno spreco inutile di risorse.

Sappiamo fin troppo bene come Apple abbia preso la sua ferma posizione riguardo a Yosemite, iOS8 e le relative funzionalità, a dispetto delle dichiarazioni rilasciate dagli alti vertici societari che in ogni caso non possono essere considerate come un punto fermo e in passato la storia recente dell'azienda di Cupertino lo ha dimostrato in più di un'occasione.

Nonostante tutto, permane una minoranza di utenti "borderline" che avrebbe in cuore che potesse giungere ad apprezzare un sistema ibrido iOS/OS X che possa girare su tutti i terminali Apple. Un nuovo Tweak Cydia che dovrebbe essere reso disponibile in un prossimo futuro, potrebbe tornare utile da questo punto di vista. Si chiama Harbor ed è stato realizzato da Evan Swick, proponendosi di introdurre qualcosa di parecchio similare alla dock applicazioni di Yosemite in ambito iOS (su dispositivi jailbroken), offrendo un nuovo modo di lanciare i contenuti presenti.

Come potrete osservare nel video che troverete nel link in basso al post, dopo averlo installato il tweak farà apparire una dock con scorrimento bilaterale verso sinistra e verso destra, che a seconda del movimento verrà animata con la solita onda per mettere in luce l'applicazione selezionabile. Attraverso una gesture swype verso l'alto si emulerà il tipico tap ed si potrà avviare il contenuto.

La dock sarà del tutto funzionale, con le relative animazioni qual'ora ci fossero le notifiche push in arrivo, e la presenza di un puntino nero al di sotto delle app in esecuzione. Harbor sarà presto disponibile su Cydia Store al prezzo di 2,99 $, cercherò di tenervi aggiornati con i realitivi dettagli della repository non appena saranno disponibili.
