In occasione degli eventi Vodafone Supplier Awards 2014, si è proceduto a consegnare il premio ad Huawei "Extraordinary Contribution to Project Spring".

La consegna dell'ambito riconoscimento è stata effettuata dal Gruppo Vodafone al noto produttore cinese di telefonia mobile per il suo contributo "Progetto Spring" dello stesso gestore di telefonia Vodafone per via dell’impegno che Huawei ha profuso nel lanciare repentinamente prodotti e idee in ogni Nazione, provvedendo a garantire performance altissime di rete e una gestione delle consegne pronta ed efficiente.
L'ambito premio è stato consegnato da Gunter Koenig, Head of Software & Core Supply Chain Management di Vodafone, in vece di Ninian Wilson, Director of Technology, Supply Chain Management di Vodafone, durante lo svolgimento della cerimonia ufficiale dei Vodafone Supplier Awards svoltasi a Dusseldorf. James Chen, Presidente del Dipartimento Vodafone di Huawei Technologies, ha dichiarato:
"Siamo onorati di ricevere il premio "Extraordinary Contribution to Project Spring" da Vodafone. Huawei è orgogliosa di fornire servizi dedicati ai nostri clienti e ci auguriamo di continuare a collaborare con Vodafone grazie alla nostra alleanza strategica di lungo termine". Questo è il quinto premio che Huawei riceve dal Gruppo Vodafone.
Già nell'ormai lontano 2008, Huawei aveva ottenuto il riconoscimento come "Performance Outstanding Supplier", mentre nel 2009 e nel 2012, il Gruppo Vodafone aveva provveduto a nominare Huawei "Global Supplier of the Year". Concludendo, Huawei è stata riconosciuta "Responsible Supplier of the Year" nel 2013.

The award recognizes the contribution of Huawei in the "Project Spring" of Vodafone for its commitment to the quickly launch products and solutions in all countries, giving excellent network performance and effective management of deliveries.
The award was presented by Gunter Koenig, Head of Software & Core Supply Chain Management of Vodafone, on behalf of Ninian Wilson, Director of Technology, Supply Chain Management of Vodafone, on the occasion of the official ceremony of Vodafone Supplier Awards held in Dusseldorf. James Chen, Chairman of the Department of Vodafone Huawei Technologies, commented:
"We are honored to receive the award "Extraordinary Contribution to Project Spring" by Vodafone. Huawei is proud to provide dedicated service to our customers and we hope to continue to work with Vodafone thanks to our strategic alliance of long-term". This is the fifth prize that Huawei receives from Vodafone Group.
In 2008 Huawei was awarded as "Performance Outstanding Supplier". In 2009 and in 2012, the Vodafone Group has appointed Huawei "Global Supplier of the Year Award". Finally Huawei was recognized "Responsible Supplier of the Year" in 2013.
