La presentazione ufficiale del Samsung Galaxy S6 sarà il prossimo 1° marzo al MWC (Mobile World Congress) di Barcellona . L'invito alla stampa è stato spedito dall'azienda coreana per radunare i "media" per un evento che anticiperà di un sol giorno l'apertura dei battenti dell'edizione 2015 del MWC.

L'immagine che campeggia sull'invito lascia intendere a che cosa, molto probabilmente, ci si troverà dinanzi durante il "Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015". Potrebbe essere la conferma di un Galaxy S6 con display incurvato che sembra sia stato mostrato a pochi prescelti in occasione del CES di Las Vegas e da quel momento e' cresciuta sempre di piu' la curiosita'.
I responsabili della società parlando di un imminente "cambio di passo" con la presentazione di prodotti che fanno uso di "nuovi materiali, design innovativi e caratteristiche differenziate". Alcuni rumors hanno fatto sapere che l'S6 dovrebbe avere uno schermo da 5 pollici e una case in metallo, sara' quindi abbandonata la tradizionale scocca in plastica.
In una veste nuova il Galaxy S6 dovrebbe segnare una nuova era per i dispositivi Samsung. Il software e' quasi certa la versione di Android 5.0 Lollipop, unica nel suo genere grazie alle funzioni dell'interfaccia TouchWiz della casa. Da altre indiscrezioni sembra che Samsung punti in alto anche per quanto riguarda le specifiche tecniche. Il brand per far funzionare al meglio il potente display potrebbe mettere a disposizione un processore Exynos 7420 octa-core a 64-bit con CPU 14nm.
Che Samsung abbia effettivamente scelto di abbandonare i processori Qualcomm preferendo i chip Exynos prodotti in proprio?
