Lenovo rilancio marchio motorola al CES di Las Vegas

Lenovo ha un programma per rimettere in pista Motorola e riportarla ai fasti perduti. Lo dice lo stesso poresidente di Lenovo Liu Jun da Las Vegas dove è in corso la rassegna dell'elettronica.

Un ottimisto pervade la presidenza della Lenovo per quanto riguarda il futuro di Motorola. Il piano per risollevarne le sorti prevede la produzione dei prodotti a marchio Motorola, direttamente negli stabilimenti di Lenovo. Questo ridurrà notevolmente i costi e sfrutterà le risorse per migliorare significativamente i prodotti finali.

Secondo quanto riporta il Wall Street Journal, l'attuazione del progetto farà si che il 40% del volume delle vendite di smartphone per l'anno fiscale che verrà - la cui data di inizio è fissata per l'1 Aprile - arriverà proprio dai prodotti della ex proprietà di Google.

Ma la parte più difficile, afferma il presidente di Lenovo, non avrà solo a che fare con il recupero dell'utenza aziendale". Sarà necessario far tornare i conti in attivo" e per far si che ciò avvenga, in cantiere c'è "un piano molto aggressivo". In futuro gli smartphone che superano la fascia dei 400 dollari saranno venduti con marchio Motorola, mentre quelli a prezzi inferiori saranno venduti a marchio Lenovo.

Rimane dunque da capire quale sarà il destino di telefoni come Motorola E o Motorola G, ottimi prodotti attualmente in commercio a prezzi ben inferiori di 400 dollari (Moto E soprattutto). Liu Jun sottolinea inoltre che sarà necessario tornare a distribuire i propri prodotti in Cina e in altri mercati chiave. Lenovo ha concluso la procedura di acquisto di Motorola da Google lo scorso Ottobre per 2,9 miliardi di dollari.

LG G Flex smartphone Schermo 5.5 pollici fullHD tecnologia OLED curva

Tutti i rumor che sono circolati nelle scorse settimane, sonostati tutti accreditati con la presentazione dell'LG G Flex 2 presentato al CES di Las Vegas, ed ha tutto quello che ci si aspetta dal primo modello per un successore.

Vediamo le sue caratteristiche tecniche:

• Schermo 5.5 pollici fullHD, realizzato in tecnologia OLED curva direttamente da LG. 
• SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 che gira a 2GHz (octa-core 64bit), accoppiato a 3GB di RAM (2GB in alcune versioni che saranno distribuite in alcune nazioni). 
• Storage nei tagli da 16 e 32GB. 
• Fotocamera posteriore da 13 megapixel con stabilizzazione ottica, autofocus laser, dual-flash LED; anteriore da 2,1 megapixel. 
• Batteria da 3.000mAh. 
• Connettività LTE con supporto fino a 300Mbps. 
• Tutto questo in 152 grammi di peso e 149,1x75,3mm. 
• Il sistema operativo installato è ovviamente Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Il tratto distintivo e la principale caratteristica del device coreano è lo schermo curvo che in questa versione è ancora più curvo rispetto al modello 2014 il G Flex 2 ma sono state migliorate anche tutte le altre qualità vantate dalla prima versione. Il polimero che ricopre l'unità, in grado di riparare da solo piccoli graffi, è stato migliorato e ora i risultati sono visibili in pochi secondi. Anche lo schermo, è stato migliorato dalla casa LG, il Gorilla Glass, che lo rende più solido dello scorso anno.


LG ha cercato di rendere il G Flex 2 più maneggiabile: lo schermo da 6 pollici era davvero troppo grande e ingombrante, aggiunto a una struttura non proprio longilinea, che in questa edizione 2015 è stata decisamente migliorata. La forma curva dovrebbe facilitare l'audio appoggiando all'orecchio solo la parte interessata ed evitare di appoggiare il dispositivo al viso, in modo da non avere lo spiacevole sensazione di calore per le telefonato un po' lunghette.

Non ci sono ancora indicazioni precise su quando il G Flex 2 sarà disponibile in Italia: LG fa sapere che a fine gennaio sarà messo in vendita inizialmente solo in Corea, proprio come lo scorso anno, e che solo in seguito sarà venduto anche in altre nazioni nelle colorazioni Platinum Silver e Flamenco Red

Dunque, il CES 2015, pare che abbia già il proprio protagonista: si tratta dello smartphone più atteso di tutto l'evento, LG G Flex 2, smartphone che ha prima ancora di essere commercializzato, suscitato opinioni controverse nel corso di queste settimane, attirando una notevole quantità di attenzione nei propri confronti

Ormai come tutti ben sappiamo, LG G Flex è stato il primo smartphone flessibile che è stato messo in commercio nei mercati, perciò dalla seconda generazione del suddetto smartphone, tutti ci aspettiamo novità altrettanto interessanti. Circa tre giorni fa, con determinati padiglioni del CES di Las Vegas già aperti al pubblico, certi reporter hanno avuto modo di potere sbirciare nello stand messo a disposizione a LG, nel quale hanno potuto intravedere il primo cartellone pubblicitario esclusivo al proprio smartphone G Flex 2. Appare evidente che lo smartphone ripercorre parecchio le linee che hanno caratterizzato gli ultimi due smartphone top di gamma della casa coreana, ovvero sia LG G2 e G3.

A differenza di LG G Flex di prima generazione, lo smartphone in questione fa uso di una curvatura del display decisamente più marcata, ma contemporaneamente presenta uno schermo più ridotto e più risoluto del precedente. Ci vorranno soltanto poche ore per dare il via alla presentazione ufficiale dello smartphone, perciò non resta altro da fare che attendere ancora qualche altro giorno per sapere cosa LG ci ha riservato su questo G Flex 2.

Alcatel Watch smartwatch di Alcatel annunciato al CES

Alcatel, dopo l'annuncio dei giorni scorsi, haufficializzato la presentazione del suo primo smartwatch. Presentato al CES di Las Vegas sotto il lineare nome di Alcatel Watch.

L'indossabile è stato immesso sul mercato dalla casa franco-cinese dotato di un OS proprietario, e non un sistema operativo Android come tutti si aspettavano, sviluppato in Java, e compatibile, attraverso una companion app, con Android 4.3+ e iOS 7+. Alcatel Watch è dotato di un display, da 1.22 pollici, che sembra rotondo ma è solo un inganno visivo, è leggermente ovale e sulla cornice inferiore dello schermo prende posto un pulsante, che permette di gestire la maggior parte dell’interfaccia grafica del dispositivo.

Oltre a accelerometro, giroscopio, altimetro, bussola e NFC, non manca la certificazione IP67 ed una batteria da 210 mAh che, secondo la società, dovrebbe garantire un’autonomia tra i 2 e i 5 giorni. Alcatel Watch sarà disponibile in tre diverse versioni (una classica, una femminile e una con cinturino in acciaio), ad un prezzo che dovrebbe andare dai 100€ per la versione meno pregiata ai 150€ di quella fatta in acciaio. Non sci sono, per ora, informazioni sull’inizio della commercializzazione dell’indossabile.

Ufficialmente presentato al CES il nuovo Zenfone 2 smartphone con 4 GB di RAM dalla casa produttrice ASUS.

Ieri 5 gennaio 2015  il giorno sospirato del CES 2015 tenutosi a Las Vegas, un evento mondiale  che vede tutti i produttori del mondo di smartphone presentare i loro prodotti al grande pubblico per questo nuovo 2015. Asus presenta numerosi device , ma il più atteso è il nuovo Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) che ha il primato di essere il primo smartphone al mondo ad avere ben 4 GB di memoria RAM. Le previsioni non lasciano dubbi che sarà un dispositivo che darà grandi soddisfazioni e profitti in casa Asus, in quanto vanta particolarità tecniche di tutto rispetto ed un prezzo molto accessibile per i consumer.

Asus Zenfone 2 corredato di un sistema operativo Android ultima versione, la 5.0 Lollipop, con la nuova interfaccia ZenUI. Dual Sim, Dual Active con supporto alle reti LTE 4G ed è dotato di un processore Super Quad Core Intel Atom Z3580 con architettura a 64 bit da 2.3 GHz, dai 2 ai 4 GB di memoria RAM, un display IPS da 5.5 pollici con risoluzione Full HD ed un rapporto screen to body del 72 per cento, vetro Gorilla Glass 3. Per quanto riguarda il comparto fotografico, lo Zenfone di Asus supporta una fotocamera posteriore da ben 13 megapixel con un’apertura f/2.0 ed una lente a 5 elementi ed una fotocamera anteriore da 5 megapixel. Kodak si presenta al CES con uno smartphone tutto per gli scatti

Kodak, ricordate? Quella dei rullini incartati in giallo, quella delle stampe fotografiche. Dopo aver vissuto a metà del suo percorso anche una banca rotta, si reinventa restando fedele alle sue origini, con uno smartphone tutto per gli scatti e lo presenterà al CES di Las Vegas.

Il prototipo nominato Kodak Instamatic 2014, implementa Android ma sarà specifico per la fotografia. Kodak ha approvato un software sviluppato per semplificare le funzioni fotografiche ma nello stesso tempo offre un uso professionale per chi voglia trarne il massimo della prestazione.
Il prototipo è stato viluppato in collaborazione con la britannica Bullit, e dovrebbe comprendere anche un app utile per lo scatto remoto, come nelle più moderne reflex digitali.

A giudicare dai proposti espressi non dovrebbe trattarsi di una semplice operazione di marketing: il CEO di Bullit, Oliver Schulte, presenta un prodotto a suo dire all'altezza del marchio storico che sa come soddisfare la sua clientela esigente in quanto a prestazioni fotografiche d'eccezione. Una scelta intelligente visto l'epidemia di selfie e l'esplosione del fenomeno Instagram avvenuta in questi anni.

Non si tratta dell'unico exploit di Kodak quest'anno: dopo il CES vedranno la luce anche un altro smartphone (4G, quindi pare scontato che quello che sarà in mostra a giorni non sarà dotato di questa tecnologia), un tablet e una fotocamera "connessa", che probabilmente sacrificherà la funzione telefonica propriamente detta per lasciar spazio a una struttura del device più simile a una punta-e-scatta con sensori e ottiche dedicate.

Uno smartphone Asus certificato Bluetooth In arrivo

Come sappiamo il CES di Las Vegas è imminenete. Molte sono le case produttive di dispositivi che  presenteranno i loro device in quella occasione e tanti di questi sappiamo gia pregi e difetti, grazie a voci trapelate nelle settimane scorse. A questo elenco, già abbastanza lungo, vi si aggiunge un nuovo device, che si è svelato attraverso il Bluetooth SIG e prodotto da Asus.

Lo smartphone è identificato con il nome in codice ZC451CG ed è, considerando le specifiche tecniche il papabile successore dell’attuale base di gamma della famiglia Zenfone di Asus, ovvero Zenfone 4.
Il device avrà uno schermo da 4.5 pollici di diagonale con una risoluzione pari a 854 x 480 pixels, un processore dual-core di Intel e 1 Gigabyte di RAM. A completare la dotazione hardware vi saranno una batteria da 2100 mAh, una fotocamera posteriore da 5 Megapixels e una anteriore da 0.3 Megapixels.
Per quanto riguarda il software avremo ancore una volta Android KitKat, in versione 4.4.4, e la personalizzazione ZenUI di Asus.
Per ora non ci è dato da sapere il prezzo di questo dispositivo, ma confidiamo che continueranno come i Zenfone ad avere un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Asus guadagnerà la fiducia di tanti nuovi clienti, diventando una delle più importanti case produttrici di smartphone al mondo.
